Interesting paper by the Cal Poly Formula SAE Team

I came across this paper the other day when doing some background reading on intrusion protection. In Wisconsin, the electrathon rules are a bit more strict. They require a a minimum of 3/4 OD support tubes to be spaced at 6 inches around the passenger and battery compartment.

The paper is really well done as it take the reader though the design and decision making process.
