Thanks to all the Drivers that brought their cars to Oregon Raceway Park on July 2nd for our first Alternative Vehicles Technology Day. Great variety and an introduction to a lot of us who didn't know this sport even existed.

Bill,
Thank you and all of your wonderful crew in making it a great day. The 1/2 hour format made the race a real kick. Even my 'non-aerodynamic' car was able to go 45 miles an hour and take all of the corners but one at over 40 miles an hour. It was fun to see you and many others get into our cars and take laps around your great track. Thanks for the driver's training before the race and the great lunch as well.

Bill,
Again, thank YOU and your wonderful crew for making it such a great day for us....

The chance to take my electrathon car (#13) and run it on such a challenging and technical track was priceless... and then being able to let you use it to experience electrathon was wonderfull as well.... that is why car 13 was built the way it was, so that nearly anyone would fit.... glad you seemed to enjoy "our" sport.

Also enjoyed our "sedate" laps of your facility in my Miata.... DEFINATELY plan on being back for a "track day" in the future ( soon as I install a roll bar) Already have the new FEDERAL 595 Evo tires (215/40zr17) installed.

Hope that you have more "alternative energy/fuel" events in the future...

Thanks again

Ron & Caitlin Jacobson,
father daughter team, electrathon cars #13 & #14 also white 1990 miata (Ron) and black 1994 Miata (Caitlin)
