Just thought it would be a neat idea to list good places online and local to purchase items like the following:
Batteries-
Motors-
Controllers-
Wiring-
Throttle components-
I know for a start-up team like ours, a good majority of the "headache" of our build was locating the right place to purchase such items. While there are several lists online, most are out-of-date and contain invalid links.
Members can either post items in the thread and I can update the list, or feel free to Private Message me the link.

This is a good idea. I also need to set up a section for "for sale" items. Many of us have components that we no longer need or use, this will be a good place to sell our excess good stuff (I personally have a shop crammed full of good stuff).
There is hope for the website. Jeff (one of the involved parents) is both willing and able to bring the EA website back to modern times. He is the person who set this site up for me (thanks Jeff) because I am barely computer literate enough to do what I am doing here. He is very excited about upgrading the EA site and will do so as soon as he is granted passwords and access to it. I am personally hopefull that things will no longer look "dead" as far as newcomers are concerned when they visit the website (the most visable part of our orginization). The forum will also get more visitors once the EA site links people from there to here.

"mega" fuses work well on the cars. They are available at any good auto parts store. If you want a breaker and not a fuse a lot of people use salvaged breakers out of home breaker panels. If you use a 220 50 amp breaker you can split the load and have one breaker work as 100 amp. You really do not want to go much smaller than that for most cars. There is a list in the rule book with recomended fuse sizes and the related wiring for them.
