I think inspectors ( and the rules) should limit the shape of the front of the cars.
I've seen several cars with frames, and bodies that are V shapes or pointed. There are two problems I see with this shape. 1. It makes the car longer than necessary. 2. it doesn't really help aerodynamically at the speeds Electrathon goes ( unless you are supersonic) and 3. most importantly, in a T bone accident, the point can penetrate another car much more dangerously. A tapered, rounded front is very good, but it doesn't/shouldn't come to a point.

I do agree, pointed nosed can be bad from a safety perspective. It is up to the individual to properly design the aerodynamics and length, so I do not see those two issues being very relevant. The safety issue is a big issue though.
Possibly language could be added along the lines of: "The nose area must have or exceed the radius of a 6"sphere or greater".
