Mark and Aaron, Thanks for the great race and all of the fun at Mt Hood CC. It is so nice to have very accurate results so quickly! I really appreciate all of the time and effort you two put in to help make all of the races in the NW much more successful and easy for the hosts by not having to count laps. Maybe next year they will fill in a few pot holes--Good thing the electric Wolverine is built like a tank!!! Mike

I noticed new potholes (some being three or four inches deep or deeper!) that had showed up compared to two years ago. Luckly my car held up, I was a little banged up. But that's racing at it's best. Congrats Mike for taking first at the MHCC race. I completley forgot about you and then you passed me with five minutes to go in the race. Still, good job racing to you and everyone else out there. Like Aaron and others have said this is the TRUE shake down test to see how well your car is built. I'll hopefully see everyone at Lacey in the upcoming weeks of May. Good job to everyone.

We broke the frame where the steering rack attaches to our #12 car. It is pretty messed up. It has a lot to repair before the next race.

Every one of our student car broke at least once. Some broke several times and then were patched together only to break again. Only one of our student cars was working at the end of the race and none were battery issues at this race!!! Even the car that finished the race broke 3 times.....I don't know who taught these kids to weld.......with the snow days the two days before spring break and our class only meeting on Tuesday and Thursday this week we will see how many of our student cars make it to the Mapleton race this coming weekend. It will be even more interesting to see if any of them finish the race without breaking. I will be there with my car and hope to see all of you with your repaired cars ready to have fun again!!!!!
