My team is planning on modifying our #80 car (My profile picture) from 4 wheels to three, during that process we plan on doing a battery change, we have been using6 12v 18ah batteries each about 10 pounds, running 72 volts, we never ran any meters on that car. We plan to switch to 36v using the batteries Dave Cloud mentioned, now how would I calculate ok amp draw. On the handbook it says pulling 20 amps on a 24v system is good. I know how to do the math in a perfect world but not ours. So does anyone know how to calculate amp draw running 36v? Or for any system we end up running?
