We ran 20 minute Sprint races on a simplified version of the track we ran before. It became a fast three turn course. This provided an interesting variety of turns; slow, medium and fast. We ran High School and Open/Advanced as separate races (and a Sponsor race) to limit the number of cars on track at once. The higher speeds and G-loads were challenging for the drivers and chassis, so we had lots of excitment.

This video includes a spin. The DAQ system shows that the throttle signal dropped properly when I lifted, but the current continued to climb and the car continued to accelerate until my pressing the regen pedal forced the regenerative brake signal to override the throttle signal. By then, the car was out of shape, and I spun.

 

The throttle problem continued in a seemly random manner for the rest of the race making timing of lifting the throttle always interesting.
