Can you guys tell us more info about 'em?
...& share some more pics too?
What motors are you running?
...system voltage?
...battery pack?
...wheels?
...top speed?
...range? (1 hour)
...& maybe even some personal commentary on how they run?

Thanks,
My students build them in class. ETEK motors, 24volt w/2 Optima yellow tops. The front wheels are 12" DOT pit bike drum brakes with 16x2.125 electric bike tires mounted on them. The wheel covers are shaped out of pink foam and coated with fiberglass. The rear hubs are just a basic wheelmaster with 3/8 axle spoked to aliennation rims with 36 sapim spokes and nipples, 16x2.125 electric bike tires. Top speed is totally dependent on which track we are running. This year we completed 155 laps on a .23 mile track(90min race). (60 min races) 34 on a mile track, 78 on a .42, and 23 on a 1.4 mile track. The nose cone, tail and top are fiberglass laid on a pink foam mold shaped by the students. The bottom of the car is 1/4 foam sheet like is under vinyl siding with fiberglass laid directly on the frame. I'll try to get some more pics at a later date.

Thanks! for the info
...& those are so kool!
I (& others) would love to see
...& hear more about them
Any videos of them "in action"?
* Also, if you &/or your class build any more racers, please consider starting a build thread (IMO this forum needs more & more current build threads)
