 hey i am new to this forum but not to forums in general i am also on Jeepforum.com .
alright i am a student at olathe northwest highschool and i am running lead on the chassis design and i had some questions about suspension. are there any advantages to suspension? and does camber really effect anything at the speeds we will be going? and third does the suspension really do anything at our speeds? any help would be appreciated. thanks
Just my opinion: Stay away from suspensiopn. It is added weight and added complexity. Just more of a headache. Most cars that have it have trouble. Once you have eliminated suspension you do not have to worryabout bump steer too.
Camber is for cornering, not going straight. Not a speed issue, but a control while turning issue.
