Reserving frequencies for electronic lap counting

I know I am submitting this a little late but I think it is important to limit what frequencies that are allowed for wireless data streaming so as not to cause interference to electronic lap counters. I am proposing a band on data streaming from 2440 MHZ to 2480 MHZ or zigbee channels 18 to 23 (12 to 17 hex)or wifi channels 6 to 11. This would still allow  data streaming on the 400 MHZ bands, 900 MHZ bands and xbee and zigbee channels 11 to 18 (0B to 11 hex).  This would allow room for some of the Electronic lap counters to run without possible interference from data streaming.

My opinion: Very few teaams will even understand what this means. I run our system and I don't know what range or frequency we run in.

If you showed up at a race and you were interfering with our counting system (and I figured out it was you, likely would be the same issue no matter what the rule) I would tell you to turn off your system.

May be a bigger issue back east where this is more of an adult sport, we are mainly students.
