These are the 2 cars my team is working on right now. These are both from Willamette high school. 107 was our first car and the one we built from scratch, and the blacked out one, 007, is the one we adopted recently and are fixing up to get ready for the last 2 races in Mapleton and PIR. I will post better pictures once I can take them.
Check out the "Team Page" on the EA home page to see the new web page from "Willamette High School." It was just started this week and is going through constant revisions at this time. One of our dads is the web master with lots of help from students and parents. We have most of our cars from this year posted there. All of the student cars will be cut up this fall after our August race and students will work to build about 15 brand new ones for the spring races which begin at Mt. Hood CC just out of Portland the first weekend in March. Our junior teams, like the them that put this post in, start the year with engineering and other projects as well as learning 'metals' skills. They don't cut their first piece of metal for their cars until after winter break so have about 7 weeks to go from nothing to a race ready car. We usually have over 75% of these cars make the first race and sometimes all of the junior cars are ready for the first race.
