Since our transponders were not working we had 3 sequential number writers. We then found the number of laps for each car using a spreadsheet and ties were broken by the order of finish for the first lap if after the one hour but before the 62 minutes. the distance on this track is 0.45 miles so the fastest student traveled 62 laps or 27.95 miles in the hour. Hopefully we will have our new or old transponders working by Portland International Raceway's event this weekend
