Here is the in-car from the ProEV Super Coupe. It is a 360 video so you can drag right and left to see what is happening around and behind.

Next race for the Electrathon of Tampa Bay series is an oval race December 9.

How did the race go? It looks like you started off well. How many racers and about how many miles did the winner (you?) travel in the hour? Looks like a fun and challenging race.

The race was fun but I lost a tire the first race and threw a chain the second race. The University of South Florida Advanced Battery team won the first race with 22.06 miles. Then we ran the track the other direction and Tiger Racing running lead acid won.

So you guys have the advanced battery class race with the standard lead acid? Isn't that a huge weight advantage for the advanced class since their batteries weigh 50/60 pounds less?

In the NW we have the following:
Student and open classes and each have had standard and advance battery class when advanced classes show up. So this is 4 classes. We seldom have advanced batteries show up so mostly just lead acid. We also have had a couple of Solar class over the 24 years I've doing this. If we had more we would have 6 separate classes the compete within each class but not across the group.

Race with, yes. Against, no.

Everybody runs together, only those within each class are in competition with each other.

(Just as it is specified in the manual)

However there is always an overall winner.

We race during the same time, but we have a separate Advanced battery class, we have 5-6 Lithium cars that are registered in FL
