Looking to buy a car to quickly replace a worn out racer for community college engineering society to get the team back in the game for the next season races. The team will be looking to build a second car while making this purchase, but needs a complete working car asap. Please send Pictures, Stats, Location, and Price, with serious inquiry.
I have this one in Tampa, it was made by Jim Robinson about 4-5 years ago. And in that time it has run lead acid and lithium and has been a solid and consistent car on our Tampa tracks. Just recently this car won the Tampa speed event, placed 2nd at Barber Motor Sports in Alabama, and 3rd at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola.
I do want to keep the lithium batteries, BMS, and possibly the motor/controller. However that's all negotiable. If i remember correctly the HCC car still has some parts from their old car so we can just make this a take what you need deal.
But if you want everything, as is $2100
This includes:
Brushless hub motor
Lithium batteries with a tested capacity of ~970w/hr (1000w/hr is the max in the rulebook)
If needed, minor frame modifications to make your parts fit, such as a new motor mount
When Mr. Robinson was still making frames, these were $1540, and that was without batteries, motor, etc
Just message me if you're interested in the car and in what parts you would want and we can come up with a different price.
I do want to make sure you have a little better comparison between these 2 cars, Archer's car in my opinion is better made, is much newer, has stronger wheels, and the motor on #321 is arguably better for than the hub motor is on mine, however this hub motor still works well, and mine is lighter due to the lithium batteries.
