Electrathon America pamphlet/brochure

I have been working on ways to build interest in the EA program
...& trying to expand it here in Ohio

The only printed info, about the program, is the rulebook
...but, it is ~50 pages (a long read & kinda expensive ta make a bunch of copies
...&/so, I have been working on a (1) page tri-fold brochure

First, I drew up a mini-brochure to help organize the info

Then, mainly just cut & pasted, most of the main points, right from the EA rulebook

SAM_3534 (1).JPG

Once all of the main ideas/info was arranged, I worked on making an actual brochure

SAM_3538 (1).JPG

Printed info on both sides (here is what the front/out side looks like)

Then, just had ta fold 'em into 3 sections

The centering could use some work
...but, they are an easier read
...way more cost effective
...& will work for now, to help "get the message out there" biggrin

What do you'all think?

Well, to further the discussion "for the program", I'd like to suggest/make a few adjustments to the tri-fold flyer

1.) Mission:
The acronym STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) is now used quite often in the education field

So, I'd like to re-arrange the terms
...& add Mathematics to the mission statement

2.) Vehicles:
I'd like to simply remove the (antiquated) term "lead acid" from:
"They are powered by standard sealed (won't leak if damaged) Lead Acid battery packs not exceeding the weight limit specified in the vehicle design section"

So, it will then say "They are powered by standard sealed (won't leak if damaged) battery packs not exceeding the weight limit specified in the vehicle design section"

Anyone have any thoughts on these slight adjustments?

I did some adjusting on the borders
...some slight editing
...& also, added a splash of color

1.) original mission statement
Our MISSION: To inspire an interest in Science, Engineering, and Technology by involving participants in the design, construction, testing and development of competitive electric vehicles.

So, I added "Mathematics"
...& also, re-arranged the words Science, Engineering, and Technology
...to Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics
...or STEM (like used in many school systems)

2.) original text under Vehicles

VEHICLES
Electrathon vehicles are single person, lightweight, aerodynamic, high efficiency, electric vehicles with three or four pneumatic tires. They must meet specific design and safety rules. They are powered by standard sealed (wont leak if damaged) lead acid battery packs not exceeding the weight limit specified in the vehicle design rules section.

I removed "standard sealed (wont leak if damaged) lead acid"
...& simply inserted "(up to)1kWh"
