Eugene Celebration race 2012

I noticed that this race is not yet posted on the events calandar so thought I would add this for those interested.

Race is free as always and at the same Valley River mall parking lot as in previous years with the same very tight 1/2 mile big "W" shape with 5 fairly tight 180 degree turns. In the past it has been won at about 25 miles an hour.

SATURDAY-AUGUST 25th

Race today is clockwise.
We will be in the Eugene Celebration Parade in the morning
Inspections, registration should start by 2:00
Practice laps will begin by 2:00
The race Saturday is from 5:00 to 6:00.
We then load up and take cars,batteries, etc. to WHS to charge batteries and make repairs.

SUNDAY-AUGUST 26th

Race today is counter clockwise
I will be at the track by 6:30 to reset it to go the other direction.
Inspections, registration (if needed) will begin about 8:00
Practice laps start by 8:30
The race on Sunday is from 11:00 to noon
Then we pick up the track, load up cars, etc. and take everything back to WHS
