In the open class Chris's car 99 did not have his ballast in so was DQ. So Jeff's car 17 from Hood River Valley took 3rd place the trophy home.

Another update and change in the standings for this race. James Mulanax the teacher from Monroe decided to DQ his own car #333 that took 5th at Hood River. The reason was that he had a video on another car that showed car #333 hitting car #444 three times. The last on was definitely on purpose and it took car #444 off the track and out of the race. Thank you Jim for your honesty and for wanting your students to play fair and remember that this is an efficiency race to see how far your car can go and not what you can do to others to 'beat them.' THIS IS NOT DIRT TRACK RACING!!! Jim also banned this driver from driving a car again for this full year!! Way to go Jim.
