Is the lap counts posted any where? There is a short sum up on the Electrathon of Tampa Bay site. Anyone have more detail? For that matter, I would love to hear more about the Chamber County race.
Good luck to those running at Five Flags this Saturday. Please post results!
Yeah, I missed having that 26th lap count by about 30 seconds.
At the Chambers county race, Rodney put his new ride up on two wheels while making a hard, fast 90 degree left hander. I didn't get to see it, but we all heard the story.
Other than that, (and the go kart smoking it's controller) it was pretty uneventful as I recall.
It's kind of a fun little track, especially if you have suspension. (It's a little rough in spots). It's a fairly well organized and run event, and they put a lot of effort into track prep and broke-down car retrieval.
I'll probably make it one of my regular races.

Oh, and in the first race at Barber, the Cloud car (which I believe happens to be the #2 record holder on the back of the Electrathon rulebook) broke a rear wheel on the first lap and missed half the race.
Then in the second race they blew a tire early on.
When they finally got back on the track they were flying by everyone trying to make up lost time I assume, when they spun out and ended up stuck in the grass.
Nice job in the Open class. Was it 15 laps by USF? I think this is the record for a single race. The last time we ran (2017), we did 14 laps in 58 minutes but did not have enough power to do a 4 minute lap to get in under the 2 minute rule.
This year we had decreased our frontal area by more than 8 square inches, improved our pack capacity, improved our software...
How did Penscola go(so I can brag about how fast we should have been there)?
at barber we got 31 laps as recorded by john from our team, although they announced 30, the cloud car was interesting, on turn 1 i had to dodge said wheel so it wouldn't hit my car, that driver was pushing that car way too fast for a hairpin turn.
chambers was fun, but incredibly bumpy and hard on the cars, five flags we did 78 on the first race and 63 on the second race, but in the second race we entered the track 10 mins late due to a charger issue.
We have been missing you Cliff, Although I've been placing higher on your absence.
I think last year USF got 80 laps in the second race at Pensacola with the old car. Sai was just cruising this year. If he actually had some real competition who knows what that car could do?
