Has anyone thought about putting up a page on facebook and/or myspace? may get more people involved that would never see this otherwise.

You seem to have various a classifications based on high school, college, etc, but what are the actual ages of students? Reason I ask is two students in one of teams I help are planning to spend a few months in the US next year, they'll be 19 at the time. If we can secure sponsorship it may be possible to crat...

I tied for third place at pir in the student class. I still haven't recieved my trophy and it's been over a month. I'm wondering where the heck it is. Please tell me if you know what the problem is or if you've received your trophy yet.

Hi Folks Just found this site whilst researching aerodynamics on behalf of the teams I assist in the Greenpower Challenge, www.greenpower.co.uk over here in the UK. Lots of good info so hoping to find a nugget that will make all the difference. Very interesting to see the way a different set of rules...

In Florida we have had two big races, for Florida, at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola. It is a 1/2 mile banked oval and fairly smooth. The owner donates the facilities for the races. There is a 3/8 mile track not far from Tampa that we are looking at to have a series of races in conjunction with their...

The morning of May 8th, the Springfield race, I have state Choir competition. I am going to be in Newberg which is about an hour and fourty-five minutes away from Springfield. I would still like to race but would not get there until after the first race started. I was wondering if I could get special perm...

This is information to all of the NW teams and the transponders system that we have been using for the second year now. At the Hood River race we were able to count over 45 cars all on the track at the same time, on a short track. It was amazing to watch the cars popping up on the screen when a group of 10 plus c...

Okay so maybe its a good idea to have the corner marshals make sure those sharp corners at races are cleared. Hood River was a close call. And it would help to have officials walking the track and watching the cars to see what areas cause the most safety issues. If anything just ask the corner marshals i...

do you have to have a licence to drive, or will a permit be legal? i am the only person on my team small enough to fit into the car that has even a permit, and the race is in less than a month. if a permit will not work, then i will have to get my licence in less than a month. only problem is i dont have enough hours at...

can i use one of my dirtbike helmets with the visor removed, as long as i am wearing goggles, or do i have to wear a full face helmet? thanks

In the NW we are using a transponder system that counts laps as the cars drive over a grid we tape to the track. In years past when we used to manually count laps it was very commonplace for there to be numerous errors at every race. Our new system had a few bugs when we first got it that caused some headache...

Just had the idea to see if Aaron would post up a section for races. That way we could post upcoming race dates, discuss past races, share pictures from events, and get input for those trying to host an event. Just curious as to the other member's thoughts on this.

Thank you Jeff!!! The EA wabsite has been stagnant for a very long time, Jeff has stepped up and done an update on it. He is receptive to input and has plans on doing on going tweaks to it. If you got frustrated in the past, please resubmit website issues. He will address them.

The new weight limit opens up a huge can of worms, 12,24,36,48 volt. Red top, yellow top, etc.etc. I don't have the $ to experiment but I have some very competitive kids. What I would propose is that we keep the weight limit the same as last year unless you are willing to go with the deep cell then you can g...

The board is discussing a measure to help in saving trees, time and money and NOT sending out the new 2010-11 handbook in a hard copy to members.
